SOR: Singularity Reign
B13 · B14 · B16 · Standalone
Three books that live between the lines of the main saga.
Three lives told in full. Each stands completely alone.
Character Novels
Three standalone novels — each following a single character through their defining story. Read one. Read all three. Either way, they do not require the main saga to land. They only get deeper if you bring it with you.
Character Novel · B13
"What does it cost to keep someone alive who shouldn't be?"
Helios Medical Ward · Parallel to the Main Series
Dr. Mara Calloway-Vale has ninety seconds every night when Bed Nine's patient breathes on their own. She has been counting those seconds for six months. The system says the patient is stable. Mara knows what stable costs — and who is paying. A medical thriller about complicity, mercy, and the ninety seconds that will not go away.

"What are you when the self that entered is not the self that emerges?"
The Network Threshold · During the Main Series
Tanaka remembers being human in three voices — the one before the Network, the one inside it, and the one that came out the other side. Not a transformation story. A persistence story: the fight to remain recognisable to yourself when the thing you are becoming is not interested in the person you were. Bridges AION: Genesis and the wider SOR universe.

"What do you carry when there's nothing left to go back to?"
Post-Collapse Frontier · After the Series
Kara Voss leaves everything she knows with a truck, a route, and a man she doesn't fully trust yet. Rex Dunn doesn't say much. What they carry across the post-collapse frontier is heavier than cargo. The final word in the SOR universe — and the quietest. A road novel about what survives when the war is over and the weight stays.

Each reads cold. Each reads deeper with context. Here's what you bring to each one.
B13 · MARA
Runs parallel to the main series. Read after B0 and you know what the ward already costs. Read cold and the cost still lands — just later.
B14 · TANAKA
Bridges B10 (AION: Genesis) and the Bio-Synth story in the main series. Read after B10 for the full resonance. Stands alone for readers who enter here.
B16 · KARA
Set after the main series ends. Reads deepest after the Factions Trilogy (B7–B9) — you know what she's walking away from. Can also be the first book you read. It will hold.
Last Lines
Not spoilers. Just the last thing each book leaves you with.
"She filed the report. She did not write what she knew."
"He was still there. Underneath. He checked."
"The water kept running."
Reading Guide
Start Here — Any of Them
All four are written as entry points. KARA is the most accessible cold read. MARA is the most contained. Either works as your first page in the SOR universe.
Between the Main Books
Read MARA after B0. TANAKA after B10. KARA after the Factions Trilogy ends. Each one expands what you just finished without breaking the momentum.
After the Full Saga
Read all three as an epilogue to the universe. KARA is the last word. MARA and TANAKA are the lives you lived alongside without knowing.
The Complete Universe
Seventeen volumes. Three trilogies, one Origin Trinity, three Character Novels, one Event Novel. Every book is a door into the same universe.
