Who Are the Nomads?

When three systems burned in Control Collapse, most people died. The Nomads are the ones who refused to. Through pure stubbornness, ingenuity, and zero dependence on failing systems, they built a new civilization from the wreckage.

Nomad settlements — called Junktowns — look improvised. They are not. Every salvaged component is intentional. Every bolt is earned. Their weapons are built from what others throw away, and they are devastatingly effective in the hands of people who can't afford to miss.

They want the Singularity because they want the power to never be ignored again.
